What is the song about?

Guy gets his heart broken each and every time he thinks he has found forever. Begins to distrust the possibility. Writes love out of his life. Afraid of the pain. Afraid to be alone. Gives love one more shot. Finding love can be real. Breathing life into you. I experienced that feeling many times. That is why I could relate to this song. I got kicked around in relationships. Friend zoned a lot. Found that many I dated didn't share a common bond with me. I was looking for something deeper and forever.

In 2001, I found that person. I was in a good place in my life. I had found balance. Remembered the song stating not to wait too long. Met my future in Kelly
, through a mutual friend and a successful blind date. We met July 3rd, 2001 and got engaged on September 7th, 2001. Marriage would not happen until September 6th, 2003 In those two years we endured a lot. After two decades we are still together. We still are best friends with a story still being written. When we were planning our wedding, I played 'Until The End of Time' many times for Kelly. It was played at our wedding reception. For our 20th Anniversary of our Wedding, I decided to illustrate the song.

The story is about me and Kelly as my altar ego, Barnsy Boxcar and his one and only, Pudnelopy. Pudnelopy is Kelly in every way. She is strong; driven by faith and puts others first. Stubborn; shy and can be quite quiet but will tolerate abuse. She brings out the best in unpredictable eccentricity Barnsy as her counterpart does for me.

By the way...

Foreigner does not in any way endorse this little comic of mine. It is a tribute to the song and to my wife, Kelly. In fact there is only one physical copy in existence. Kelly owns that copy which is boarded and placed in a plastic envelope. I make no money off this nor do I claim any intellectual property based on the song. All I claim is my original characters that appear in the story. Literally, a passion project.

UNTIL THE END OF TIME (The Lyrics)

When I was young and the world belonged to me,

I thought that love meant pain and jealousy.

It was a cross on my shoulder.

Oh, Lord, now I feel so much older.

Mmm.  Mmm.

Time had a way of making me see my lonely life has taken its toll on me.

Now, I feel the emptiness and I don't wanna live like this.

Now, I've heard stories, I've heard songs telling me believe my heart.

Don't wait too long with words that don't ring true until there was you.

Never will I lose this heart's desire.

Ever will I feel our love's fire only when I know

That you'll be mine until the end of time.

How do I trust what I'm beginning to feel,

And how deep my soul, how much can I reveal?

I'm lost in love's mystery, caught between time and eternity.

Now, there's a door that opens wide.

Slowly I will find my way and I'll reach inside.

But I couldn't make it through until there was you.

Never will I lose this heart's desire.

Ever will I feel our love's fire only when I know

That you'll be mine and only when I see

The light of love shine until the end of time.

Never will I lose this heart's desire.

Ever will I feel our love's fire.

And when I see the light of love shine in your eyes when they meet mine,

Only then I'll know it's you and I until the end of time.
